MUSTANG II DISC BRAKE CONVERSION KITS

At last! Heidt's now offers disc brake conversion kits for Mustang II spindles. These kits use the 11 " rotors with a variety of caliper combinations.

Kits are available as a bracket kit only or as a complete kit including calipers and/or rotors. When ordering, specify -C Chevy or -F Ford bolt pattern after Part No.

PROPORTIONlNG VALVE AND CHECK VALVES

An adjustable brake proportioning valve is used to balance front and rear brake pressures, especially in disc/drum combinations. One is also required in disc/disc applications, considering that 60% of the braking force transfer to the front wheels, and most street rods run big and little tires. 10 lb. residual pressure valve is used to maintain pressure in rear drum brake lines. 2 lb. is used in some factory caliper applications, such as 'Vette calipers.

For the ultimate in stopping power and fade resistance and appearance, match the performance of your Front Disc Brakes with Rear Disc Brakes. Now also available with parking brake option. Kits include polished calipers with pads, mounting brackets, rotor assemblies and hardware. 12" diameter .812 thick gray iron rotors. Rigid caliper mounting ensures even pad wear. No caliper cock or twist from sliding mounts. Add -P to number to indicate Parking brake option.
