This stamped steel front crossmember, with stock-location radiator mounts,
lowers your rod 1 inch. The center has a 6-degree rake to eliminate shackle bind

Spring:

I-beam

Magnum Axle Co. Both offer a 4-inch drop and the Magnum Axle is available in a

Manufactured by Magnum Axle Co., these premium, front spring perches feature a 3/4-inch
eye. They're available in plain or chrome-forged 1018 steel, or polished
stainless steel.

Front
Shocks:
These Pete and Jake's shocks have been engineered specially for hot rod
applications and have withstood many years of use and abuse under our own rods.
They are available with or without upper covers and plain or chrome. They also
feature hard chrome (nonrust) shafts and rubber bushed ends. NOTE: SO-CAL also
sells the shorty version which has the exposed shaft. It has a closed length of
77/8 inches and an open length of 111/4
inches. The long version has a closed length of 91/4
inches and an open length of 141/4 inches

Hot Rod
Shox:
We find that there are special circumstances when a hot rod requires adjustable
shocks. With 93/8 inches closed and 121/8
inches open dimensions, these SO-CAL-designed and Aldan-engineered 6061 T6
brushed aluminum shox offer four damping adjustments and fit most applications.
NOTE: These shox are not suitable for use with SO-CAL F1-style upper shock
mounts. Please specify bushing ID, 7/16, 1/2
or 5/8 inches, when ordering
